Duck!

It was a beautiful day outside so I made Scott take a quick photo of Rocco and me in our backyard. The ducks photobombed us, assuming we must have bread for them. Usually we do because we can't seem to finish a loaf of bread in our household, before it goes stale, to save our lives.

Pizza

Rocco had fun "helping" us make dinner tonight - pizza! He loved stretching out the pizza dough and then later putting on the toppings. Too bad he didn't want to eat his creation when it was done cooking, but we're working on that!

Beach Day, Part Two

Our second day at the beach was really just spent at the pool because the surf was too rough for Rocco. He still loved it - jumping into the pool and swimming around with his pool noodle.

Someone needs to learn to jump farther into the pool - I'm always afraid he is going to hit his head!

Life's a beach!

Is there anything more relaxing than a day at the beach? Why, yes. Two days at the beach! Here's the first day:

Hanging out in the beach condo

Finally big enough to climb out the ladder on his own!

Boys will be boys

There's just something about baby hats that makes them too cute for words. The cute baby helps too.

First Bath

Gianna's umbilical cord finally fell out so she got her very first bath. It's hard to tell if she likes taking a bath since she can't smile yet, but not crying generally equals enjoyment, so we'll just say she enjoys them.

SeaWorld - a last hurrah

One of Rocco's favorite things at Sea World is the Shamu show. He always wants to stand on Scott's lap so he can get a better view. He then proceeds to twist and wave his arms around in sync to the whales jumping out of the water, smiling from ear to ear and shrieking "Wow!" in excitement. It's so cute it almost makes me forget we have seen the documentary, "Blackfish". Our annual passes expire in a couple of weeks so this might have been his last time seeing Shamu, the oppressed killer whale, for a while.

SunRail

Recently the new commuter train, SunRail, has started running in the Orlando area. We decided to try it out as the Lake Mary station is just minutes from our house. Currently it does not run on the weekends, so we rode it to Winter Park with just Rocco (Gianna stayed at home with her Nannie watching her) to grab dinner for a fun Friday night out. Rocco LOVED riding on the train. He waved at the people at each station through the window, just enjoying the novelty of being on a real train.
